CVS Coupon Breakdown

Before I share my shopping scenario with you, please keep in mind that you may not have the coupons I used.  But you can definitely save the minimum and earn ECB’s (extracare bucks) by signing up for an Extracare Card from CVS. (it’s FREE)
You also may not want or need the items I do for my household.

Okay, here it goes…

Purchased:

  • (1) Crest Toothpaste  $3.99
  • (1) Crest Pro Health Rinse $3.99
  • (1) Wisk Laundry Detergent $4.99
  • (1) Suave Clarifying Shampoo $0.99
  • (1) CVS Brand Kids Toothbrushes 4 pk $1.00 on clearance

Coupons Used:

  • (1) .75/1 Crest Toothpaste (coupon from p&g booklet in select items)
  • (1) .75/1 Crest Pro Health Rinse (coupon from p&g booklet in select items)
  • (1) $1/1 Wisk Laundry Detergent (coupon from magic coupon machine in-store)
  • (1) $10 ECB’s from my previous CVS shopping trip

New Totals:

  • Crest Toothpaste $3.24
  • Crest Pro Health Rinse $3.24
  • Wisk Laundry Detergent $3.99
  • Other items remained the same as I did not have coupons for them

SPENT$2.61 (2.46 + 6% PA sales tax)
SAVED: $23.57 ($2.50 coupons, $10 in ECBs that I applied to this order, 11.07 extracare card – sale or clearance prices)
EARNED: $2 ECB’s for purchasing two Crest items in ad

It’s almost like this only cost me .61 cents if you factor in the earned ECBs beforehand! :)

If you have the Wisk manufacturer coupon, your total would be approximately $1 less than mine.  I just did not have that coupon unfortunately.
