Remember when I did my last FunBites review?  Well, I got another fun opportunity offered to me from Bobbie over at FunBites to review the heart shaped kitchen gadget this time around.  :)

I was really excited because of how quick and easy it was to use the square set.  I couldn’t wait to try the next one out!   It’s always important to show and/or tell your child(ren) how much you love them.  With school starting soon for a lot of kids out there…or maybe it has already in your area, that means the kids will understandably be home less often.  Between the regular school day, after-school activities, homework and just regular life, that means less time together.  So be sure to make the most of the time you are all together.

One way you could brighten your child(ren)’s day and warm their heart is to make their lunch using the heart cut-out.  Whether you cut a sandwich into hearts or maybe even a brownie as a treat in the lunchbox, it is sure to make a happy memory.  Now, my children are not in school yet.  I have two and the eldest will not be in school for at least 2 (maybe 3) years.  But that doesn’t mean breakfast or lunch can’t be fun.

One of their favorite breakfast foods is peanut butter toast.  (mine too!! YUMMY)  So, to show them shapes and also as a tiny, yet special way to show them I love them–I made PB Toast for them in the shape of hearts.  My 2 toddlers both thought it was the neatest thing and noticed the different shape right away.  My daughter kept announcing that it was a “heart, heart!”.

Another fun idea would be to turn the shapes around and make a boat (as seen in the below picture).

FunBites are a very durable and unique kitchen gadget.  Priced at $12.99, they are an affordable hit in any household.
