Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil Review & Giveaway

Tropical Traditions recently gave me the opportunity to try their Organic Coconut Oil and review it.  I am a fan of coconut, but had never had actual coconut oil.  I was really looking forward to trying it.

You may be asking yourself ‘What is Virgin Coconut Oil?’ (read more here

There are MANY uses for it and it’s full of antioxidants to boot.  I chose to add it to my morning coffee as my first way of trying it.  I LOVE my coffee and this just made it more enjoyable.  I added regular coffee creamer and the coconut oil.  You will want to make sure to stir well and make sure it dissolves completely before you drink it.  My mother-in-law asked me what it tasted like and the best way to describe it is like a mounds candy bar.  If you are a fan of that, then you will really enjoy adding it to your coffee. The other way I used it was in my hair.  When I air dry my hair (as opposed to blow drying it), it has a lot of fly-aways and frizz.  This was not the case after using coconut oil.  Just be sure to use it on damp hair, let it work its magic and then wash thoroughly.  It made my hair SO silky smooth and much more manageable.
